1. Service Areas
BAJT Smart Curtains provides delivery and professional installation services across all of Pakistan, including:
- Major Cities (3-5 Business Days): Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Mirpur, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Hyderabad
- Secondary Cities (5-7 Business Days): Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Mardan, Attock, Jhang, Gujrat, Okara
- Remote Areas (7-10 Business Days): All other areas across Pakistan, including mountainous and rural regions
Delivery timelines are estimates based on normal conditions and may vary due to weather, road conditions, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any delays as soon as possible.
2. Delivery Process
Order Confirmation: Upon completing your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation via email and WhatsApp with:
- Order number and invoice
- Product details and quantity
- Estimated delivery date range
- Installation technician contact information
Delivery Scheduling: Our logistics team will contact you 24-48 hours before the scheduled delivery date to confirm the delivery time window (typically a 2-3 hour window on the agreed date).
Product Inspection: Upon delivery, please inspect the package for any visible damage or signs of tampering. If damage is evident, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately at https://wa.me/923159289895.
3. Risk of Loss and Damage During Transit
BAJT Smart Curtains takes responsibility for all products until they are physically delivered to your address. However, you should:
- Ensure someone is present to receive the delivery
- Inspect the package upon receipt for any damage
- Sign for receipt only after confirming the goods match your order
- Report any damage within 24 hours of delivery
Products damaged during transit due to carrier negligence will be replaced at no charge. Damage caused by improper handling at the delivery address is not covered and may incur replacement costs.
4. Professional Installation Service
All motors are supplied with professional installation service at PKR 3,000, which is mandatory for warranty coverage and included in the total price.
5. Installation Scheduling
Scheduling Process:
- Upon delivery, our installation coordinator will contact you to schedule an installation appointment.
- You may choose any date within 7 days of delivery or reschedule by mutual agreement.
- Installation appointments are typically scheduled during business hours (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Friday installations may be available upon request (office closed but installation services available).
Installation Requirements: Please ensure:
- The installation area is accessible and safe
- Curtain rails/tracks are pre-installed or available for mounting
- Windows are clean and ready for motor installation
- Power outlets are available near the installation location
- Adequate space is available for the technician to work safely
6. Professional Installation Process
Our certified technicians will handle the following during installation:
- On-Site Assessment: Inspect the location, measure windows, and assess structural suitability
- Motor Assembly: Assemble the motor unit and connect all electrical components
- Track Mounting: Install aluminum tracks (if not pre-installed) with proper alignment and support
- Motor Calibration: Mount the motor, calibrate end-stop positions, and set speed/torque parameters
- Safety Testing: Test all safety features, including obstacle detection and emergency stop functions
- User Training: Demonstrate operation, explain maintenance requirements, and provide documentation
- Cleanup: Remove packaging materials and leave the area clean
Installation Duration: Standard installations typically take 2-4 hours depending on complexity. Complex projects may require multiple visits.
7. Rescheduling and Cancellation
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your installation appointment free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled date/time. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours may incur a PKR 500 administrative fee.
Cancellation: Installation appointments may be cancelled, but a PKR 500 cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 24 hours. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are free.
No-Show Policy: If you fail to be present at the scheduled installation time without prior notice or rescheduling request, a PKR 1,000 no-show fee will apply, and you will be required to reschedule and pay the fee before a new appointment is confirmed.
8. Installation Warranty and Post-Installation Support
Warranty Activation: Your 1-year product warranty begins on the installation completion date. A warranty certificate will be provided with the complete terms.
Post-Installation Support: Our technicians will remain available for:
- Troubleshooting issues within 7 days of installation
- Adjustment of settings or calibration if needed
- Follow-up consultations via WhatsApp or phone
For warranty claims or technical support after 7 days, contact us via WhatsApp with photos/videos describing the issue.
9. Additional Services and Charges
Optional Services (at additional cost):
- Track Installation: If aluminum tracks need to be installed (not pre-existing), this is an additional service estimated at PKR 5,000-15,000 depending on track length and complexity.
- Smart Home Integration: WiFi setup and integration with smart home systems (Alexa, Google Home, Tuya) – PKR 2,000
- Remote Control Setup: Configuration of RF433 or wireless remote controls – PKR 1,500
- Extended Warranty: Coverage extension beyond 1 year – available for negotiation
All additional service charges will be quoted and agreed upon before work begins.
10. Delivery Areas with Special Conditions
Mountainous and High-Altitude Regions: Delivery to areas above 5,000 feet elevation may incur additional charges of PKR 2,000-5,000 depending on logistics.
Island and Water-Locked Areas: Delivery to island communities or areas accessible only by boat/ferry may require special arrangements and advance planning (minimum 14 days notice).
Military and Restricted Areas: Delivery to military cantonment areas, restricted zones, or areas requiring special permits will be subject to advance approval and may incur additional charges.
11. Shipping Payment and Terms
Shipping is FREE for all orders within Pakistan. Delivery costs are included in the product price.
Installation Cost: PKR 3,000 (included in the quoted total price). No additional charges for standard installations in accessible locations.
All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include 17% GST (General Sales Tax) where applicable.
12. Claims for Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your shipment is lost or arrives damaged:
- Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery/non-delivery via WhatsApp or email with photographic evidence
- Provide your order number, delivery date, and detailed description of the damage
- Our team will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund within 5-7 business days
- Replacement shipments will be sent at no additional charge
13. International Orders (Outside Pakistan)
BAJT Smart Curtains currently ships only to addresses within Pakistan. For international inquiries, please contact us to discuss special arrangements, customs procedures, and international shipping costs.
